Activities and classes available in the pool at Roma Calasanzio

At the Virgin Active Roma Calasanzio Club, we offer a variety of aquatic activities suitable for all ages and experience levels. Whether you want to improve your technique, keep fit or simply relax, you will find the ideal activity for you.

Swimming lessons for children

Our swimming lessons for children offer a safe and enjoyable environment, where younger members can learn the fundamentals of swimming. With the support of qualified instructors, children develop confidence in the water, improve coordination and gain independence, all in a calm and stimulating setting.

Baby Swimming

For infants aged 3 to 36 months, we offer infant aquatic classes. These classes introduce the youngest children to the aquatic environment, promoting motor and sensory development and strengthening the bond between parent and child through playful water-based activities.

Aquagym and water fitness for adults and teenagers

Our aquagym sessions are ideal for adults and teenagers seeking an effective, low-impact workout. Training in the water helps improve muscle tone, endurance and flexibility, while minimizing joint impact.

Lap swimming

For those who prefer to swim independently, our pool has lanes dedicated to lap swimming. Whether you want to train or relax, you can make full use of the spaces available to you.

The Advantages of Aquatic Workouts

  • Reduced impact on the joints: Water relieves pressure on the joints, making training suitable for people of all ages.

  • Boosts cardiovascular health: Swimming and participating in water-based exercise enhance cardiac function and lung capacity.

  • Muscle strengthening: The natural resistance of the water helps tone and strengthen the muscles.

Mental well-being: The aquatic environment promotes relaxation, helping to reduce stress and improve mood.
